Illness, illness and more illness

I have been ill for 3 weeks now and I am just seeing the light at the end of the sickness tunnel.

Flu, strange substances coughed up, very strange pain in my back which prevented me from walking upright and dizziness. With all the swine flu nonsense in the media I went to the doctor who said I had a viral infection. Sick time off work was the only good thing about it as I got to watch a load of films especially Collateral with jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise.

I really dont know why Tom Cruise gets slated for his films - he is brilliant in this one.

If you are reading this Tom - Well Done.

Michael Mann is a class director though, so I will give kudos to him and jamie foxx as well - Well done you cheeky rascals.

I am going on holiday on Monday.

Ive been living my life

Chilling out today as we have just tidied the entire house because my daughter is having her 11th Birthday party tomorrow.

Played a few games, listened to some music and ingested 4 kilos of house dust.

My camping trip was excellent apart fromthe sweary chavs in the tents surrounding us and my bike has had a couple of little rides around the village, but my leg is smashed in so I cannot go on a long journey yet.....but I will probably this week.

Got another new camera Panasonic fz50 and its rocks like a rock that is being sold in a rock shop by a former rock star.

Got a new mouse razor copperhead and playing lots of face shooting games on my pc.

I am skint but I have lots of new toys.

Finished reading a couple of books over the last few weeks....Simon Winchesters excellent book Korea and the quickest I have ever read a book which was Jon Krakaeurs (sic) Into The Wild.

The film is amazing and the book does no harm to this inspiring and moving story of Chris Mc Candless and the last few months of his life.

read the book and watch the film.

2 wheels and a lot of weight to shift

Bought a 2nd hand mountain bike last night....

I had a really nasty accident (not bike related) in 1996 which prevented me from using a bike, but I now feel better so on a whim bought a 2nd hand mountain bike.

It feels so good to ride (oo-er)

I am away camping this weekend, but will start the evening regime of 1 mile, then 2 mile, then 3 mile, then the big wobbly belly should disappear.

Exercise !!!!!

I bet it becomes my new addiction
